    Ignition Live

Hi, has anyone hard wired a sat nav ?
I have the 12v plug fitted, and it works fine, but prefer to go ignition live direct to the mount.
    Any help would be great
    Thanks

You could install a power distribution module, but most people think they are quite expensive.
I have the PDM60 from Rowe in the US.
It connects directly to the battery and has a wire for connecting a live feed or you can connect a switch.
The PDM makes wiring simple with no need for relays or fuses.

The other option is possibly to use a relay.

The PDM60 would seem a bit pricey now as some of the items I used to connect to it are now incorporated in the dash.
Heated Grips and Aux Lights for example.
Another update to the Roadsync app means you can also use the dash for navigation, so no need for a satnav unless you want a map.

If you post back with what you would like to do, I will copy part of my wiring diagram

    Hope this helps

have put in a NC750X GPS Phone Navigation Bracket which fits on the back of the screen using the same screw fittings and then fitted  a quadlock with the wireless charging head that wires direct to the accessory feed.  phone now clips on in either portrait or landscape mode and makes for a great satnav with charing automatically when attached.

    Oh, that's good

I presume you have a Transalp
Which GPS bracket did you use?
I have heard that some things fit both
