    Fixed price service plan

Has anyone on the forum gone for Honda's Fixed Price Service Plan for their Transalp? It's offered at £399 for the annual plan which seems reasonable until I saw that includes the first 600 mile service. It can't cost very much for that so it makes the two subsequent services seem relatively expensive. Don't know if the same plans are offered elsewhere in Europe or worldwide? Here's a link to the Honda UK page:

I checked and it seems Honda is not doing that in Belgium. Maybe it's hidden somewhere in their website, but could not find it.

Anyways, just for info, my first service (600 miles/1000 km) costed 180 Euros.

    Cheers, V.

That's about £155. Seems expensive for an oil change which I assume is what the first 1000 Kms service is. Might have a chat with my dealer about cost of first three services individually

Indeed it is oil and filter change.
Expensive? Yes, it is. But generally speaking Belgium is quite expensive when going to Official dealers. With my old CB500X was a bit less expensive, but not that much I'd say.

    Cheers, V.

Checked back to see what I paid for my CB500X service last time (April 2023) - £137 or about 160 Euros. That was the two year service, no parts other than oil and filter. As you say, not vastly different from your charge. I don't think Honda are giving much away by offering three services for £399.

Effectively you are fixing the price against inflation.
